Agapanthus ‘Ever Sapphire’ – Repeat-Flowering African Lily with Rich Blue Blooms
Agapanthus ‘Ever Sapphire’ is a compact and free-flowering African Lily, prized for its intense sapphire-blue blooms and long flowering season. Unlike traditional agapanthus, this variety produces flowers over an extended period, often reblooming from early summer through to late summer.
The rounded flower heads are held on sturdy upright stems above neat clumps of strap-like green foliage, creating a clean and structured look. Its compact size makes it particularly well suited to containers, smaller gardens, and the front of sunny borders.
Highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, ‘Ever Sapphire’ adds both beauty and biodiversity to the garden. Its rich blue tones pair beautifully with ornamental grasses and other sun-loving perennials, extending seasonal interest.
Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this agapanthus performs best in a warm, sheltered position. It is especially effective in pots, where it can be moved or protected during colder winter conditions.
Bold, long-flowering, and easy to manage, Agapanthus ‘Ever Sapphire’ is an excellent choice for gardeners seeking reliable summer colour with repeat performance.
