As a tree they are wonderful feature plants. Often on a clear stem with either an upright or weeping head. Full of small scalloped foliage that has lovely autumn colour, flowers spring / summer often followed by berries for the birds in autumn.

How To Grow Your Cotoneaster
Cotoneaster are very easy to maintain and thrive in moderately fertile, well-drained soils in sun or partial shade.
Cotoneaster can be cut back after flowering if required.
If you are going to train these against the wall then you will need to train and clip them onto the trellis.
