How to Grow and Look after your Pittosporum
Pittosporums are ideally planted in fertile, well-drained soil in a border or as a low hedge. If being used as a hedging plant, they should be trimmed into shape in spring or summer.
If planted in a border, these shrubs are best trimmed in late winter or early spring, removing any crossing shoots. This encourages healthy re-growth.
