Compact hardy little grass from N.Zealand. Stout grassy leaves. They have saucer shaped flowers often followed by orange seed capsules.

Adds a spot of colour to boring areas of the sunny border.

Where to site your Libertia

Very attractive plants and look very nice in mixed flower beds and when underplanting shrubs. Roses and trees.

How to grow Libertia

Best planted in moist well drained soil, can tolerate both acidic and alkaline. They thrive in full sun but can take partial shade.
