Kerria

Kerria

Vigorous, deciduous flowering shrub. It will grow almost anywhere and soon develops into a thicket of tall stems bearing double, yellow flowers from mid to late spring. The beautiful yellow flowers are surrounded by bright green, oval leaves.

Where To Site Your Kerria

These are best planted at the back of the flower border and are ideal for woodland gardens

How To Grow Your Kerria

It prefers partial or full shade as the direct sunlight can bleach the flowers which makes it ideal for illuminating  a dark corner or north facing wall.

To prune, just thin out the old shoots after flowering.
