Coprosma or Mirror Plant

Coprosma are also known as mirror plant or looking glass. They are compact evergreen shrubs which are grown for their attractive and brightly coloured foliage. Small oval leaves that deepen in colour in autumn / winter.

When planted in groups in a warm sunny location attractive berries are produced

 The Coprosma are also related to the coffee plant and it is said that the seeds contained within the fruits can be made into coffee.

Where to Site Your Coprosma

Plant as part of a mixed flower border the front to the middle so the foliage colour can be appreciated. If you leave in a particularly cold area then plant in pots so they can be protected in the winter if needed.

 Plant in a sunny, sheltered site in moist well drained soil.
