Choisya

Choisya or Mexican Orange Blossom

A fantastic evergreen shrub grown nor only for their attractive flowers but for the foliage, which varies from golden yellow (sundance) to finely serrated green foliage (Aztec Pearl). Both the flowers and foliage are often fragrant.

Where to Site Your Choisya

All gardens should have one of the varieties whether it be planted in a mixed flower bed or kept in a pot. They have all year round interest with the flowers and foliage and are an easy shrub for the non-gardener to be rewarded with as they are low maintenance.

How to Grow and Look After you Choisya

Plant in full sun or partial shade, in free draining soil. They don’t require pruning but if they do get a little too large then a light tidy up in the summer months will be perfectly fine.
