Photinia have small five-petalled, cup-shaped flowers which are followed by spherical fruits which are usually red in colour.
Red Robin are best planted in a shrub border or around a garden as a hedge. They enjoy fertile, well-drained soil and full or partial sun. This plant has been formed as a flat road sign like structure on top of a 2 metre clear stem. The idea is that, without taking up too much border, you can elevate a screen between you and a neighbour at a 2-3 metre height.
