Viola cornuta

Viola cornuta or horned violets are the hardy form of the popular bedding plant. They are useful for growing over walls or ground cover with their distinctive finger shaped leaves and five petaled flowers which appear in profusion all summer. They grow in all soils and positions and make a fabulous alternative for ground cover in the perennial border.
