Pulsatilla or pasque flower are very pretty little perennials that form small tussocks of fine cut leaves. One of the first flowers of spring they pop up short stems with beautiful anemone like flowers in a range of colours just about easter time earning their common name. They are easy to grow and perform well in any soil and in sun to semi shade. The plant is poison, so no crafty snacking. This little plant shoud have a place in every garden as it takes no room and chears up the perennial border, doing it's thing before everything else gets away.
