Nepeta

Nepeta or Catnip

These have heavenly fragrant foliage fills the whole garden. They have heart shaped greyish green leaves that have masses of flowers that are in clusters towards the tip of the stems, that last ages through the summer.

Where to Site Your Nepeta

They are tolerant of most garden positions and are ideal for tricky spots.

Perfect for encouraging wildlife into the garden, especially bees and pollinators.

If you have cats you will be their best friend, they love these plants and can play with them for ages.

How to Grow and Look after your Nepeta

They are very easy to grow and like to be planted in poor or good soil and in sun or semi shade.

Once they have finished flowering trim back the flower stems, this will keep the plants looking tidy and encourage new growth and potentially a newflish of flowers
