Hosta or Plantain Lily
Hosta’s are a garden favourite with their colourful, large foliage. Areal space filler.
They are excellent foliage plants with their attractive flowers that are produced in summer. They have lovely bell-shaped flowers produced on tall slender stems in summer.

Perfect low maintenance perennial, suitable for shade loving areas, under planting and pots.
How to Grow and Look after Your Hosta
They thrive in semi shade but can take some sun and in pretty much all soils.
They do get munched by slug and snails so do protect well.
Deer and rabbits also eat hostas, if this is a problem in your area then try planting daffodils around them
