Monarda Fire Ball 11cm Pot
Monarda also known as bergamot are beautiful clump forming perennials. They have lovely fragrant hairy foliage that smells even more when crushed as they release a fragrant oil that is used regulay in tea. You can crush the leaves and put them in boiling water to make a nice relaxing tea that is said to cure headaches and temperatures whilst you enjoy thge unusual whorls of flowers from summer to autumn. They are definatley worth cutting and popping in a vase to enjoy inside.
They like to be planted in sun or part shade in rich warm soils they don't tend to like the winter wet. A bonus about this plant is that every few years you can divide them so you get more!
Compact form of this clump forming perennial that throughout the summer bears whorls of pink red flowers above neat mounds of aromatic, hairy foliage. Height 40cm.
