Eupatorium Rug. Chocolate, stunning architectural plants that are perfect for back of the borders. Dark bronzy brown green foliage with white flowers.
Eupatorium or joe pye weed are large and tall, leafy perennials for the back of the border. There are some smaller forms but we are still talking 1 metre instead of 2. The large saucer shaped of flowers appear on the top of the plant in late summer and last well into the late autumn making them a vital source of nectar for butterflies and bees. A very architectual perennial that will give height to the perennial border.
Eextremely tough and easy to grow in any soil with full sun or part shade
