Very bushy shrub that we cut back early summer to make extra wide. Now 130-140 tall and 50 cm wide. Plant them a metre apart and you will have a 6 foot bushy screen by next summer
Elaeagnus or spotted oleaster are a medium evergreen shrub with wide ovate leaves. They often bear fragrant flowers which grow in small clusters around the leaves and are tubular in shape. In the autumn, these flowers are sometimes followed by berries.
Elaeagnus x Ebbingei - bear glossy grey green leave and small white fragrant flowers. Eleagnus make a lovely specimen shrub or a very colourful screening plant as it is very dense growing.
Oleaster grow well in fertile, well-drained soil and will tolerate coastal winds.can be trimmed to remove any out of place stems. they can grow up to 3 meters.
