Dryopteris erythrosora brilliance 3 litre
Dryopteris ferns are mostly deciduous but in mild winters most do stay green in sheltered sites. They bear pinnate to 4 pinnate fronds, they produce kidney shaped spores. The foliage looks very attractive planted with herbaceous perennials and shrubs.
Easy to grow in most cool, moist, lightly shaded sites. Tolerant of dry shade but water regularly in their first season and mulch well.
The Dryopteris Erythrosora is also known as Coper Shield Fern are semi-evergreen fern with fronds which are often coppery-red when young turning shiny dark green and pink spores. Height can reach up to 100cm.
