Redbud, have beautiful reddish purple foliage all year round and in summer bears pinkish white buds that open to pink.
Cercis also known as redbud. the are a large shrub or can be a tree shape, the have beautiful heart shaped leaves and they tend to flower before the leaves open in early to late spring.
To grow and maintain cercis they can be pruned in late winter or early spring before the leaves appear.
