Carex is a very hardy aquatic, bog or grass like plant which can be deciduous or evergreen bearing linear or strap shaped dark green leaves with long spikes of tiny green or brown flowers.

Carex Everest are evergreen grasses with silver / green variegated, arching thin strap like foliage Height 60cm and spread 60cm.

Carex is very easy to grow and they are even easier to maintain. They are a very low maintenance plant that like full sun to partial shade and a moist soil. Carex needs trimming back once it has flowered.
