Bamboo Control System - 69 CM Deep
If you are concerned that your bamboo may try and escape you garden and bother next door then you should contain it. Someone clever has found an answer to the issue. The solution being the roots should not dip lower than the depth of the barrier. You can either dig the barrier in just between the area you want keep it out of or go completely around the bamboo or bamboos. Give them some extra room and overlap the barrier as per instructions and problem solved......
Bamboo Control System - Rhizomes are underground stems that run parallel to the surface and can travel a considerable distance from the original plant. When a rhizome contacts the outward-slanting membrane (see Diagram) it is directed to the surface and transforms in foliated growth. This system keeps the Bamboo inside a specific area and does not allow for bamboo to run out of control.
